Non-accessible content

Non-compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004

  • Some content (such as text links) relies solely on color to indicate interactivity.
  • Some of the videos on the platform may lack alternative modes of consumption (such as comprehensive text descriptions of the content or audio descriptions).
  • The platform presents some structural issues: the skip to main content does not always work properly; page titles may be generic; radio buttons aren't always grouped together and linked to a title; some headers are out of order, and there are instances where text is incorrectly marked; some interactive elements have an accessibility label but they're not properly linked to it.
  • Some platform content does not properly adapt to screen size, resulting in loss of functionality or information (e.g. some video player functions are no longer visible).
  • Some input fields are not fully accessible: they do not notify the user of any compilation errors, or are not sufficiently comprehensive in describing the error and its solution; some error messages persist even if the entered data is corrected; some fields suitable for autocomplete do not have this attribute; the mandatory nature of some fields is not always communicated correctly.
  • Some textual elements do not present sufficient contrast with the background, making them difficult to read.
  • Keyboard navigation may presents issues: some interactive elements does not show any visible outline, border, or highlight when they receive keyboard focus; few interactive elements are not operable via keyboard; some pages presents an illogical tab order.
  • The platform may present visual and/or functional consistency issues in some of its content: some interactive elements do not provide an "over" state; some modals lack the closing CTA and do not appear in the center of the screen; etc.
  • In card overlays, it is not possible to close the overlay from the keyboard
  • The platform presents some gaps in communicating component states and functionality to assistive technologies: in some pages (e.g. "Preventivatore auto, step 2"), error messages are not programmatically announced by assistive technologies; interactive elements may lack accessibility labels or have their role improperly declared; some elements do not expose their state programmatically, including: mandatory fields, disabled buttons, expanded/collapsed areas, checkbox selections, selected options, and pause/play button states.
  • The documents contain images without clear alternative text and decorative elements that are mistakenly marked as images.
  • Some documents lack appropriate accessibility tags or a defined hierarchy of both text and non-text content.
  • In documents, some double-column layouts may not maintain consistent reference headings.
  • In documents, some textual elements do not present sufficient contrast with the background, making them difficult to read.
  • Keyboard navigation and screen reader reading in documents can be sluggish or inconsistent with the content.
  • Documents may contain links that are not graphically distinguished from non-interactive text.
  • Documents may lack defined titles and language settings.
